It was so great working with you. Last year especially when we kept bumping into each other in all kinds of places - Türkiye, Nepal, Italy, Hungary. Everywhere you were the same curious, interested, joyous person, diligent in doing the best job you could, and making as many friends as possible. I’ll treasure the times we had together, a Sunday morning walk around Lake Eymir, some fabulous meals in Milano, cocktails and wine at the Scottish place. I wish we could have had many, many more. Rest in peace, my dear fellow GST, Loftie and friend.

Simon, though we were colleagues in the GST I wish we had known each other better and had the opportunity to work together. I will remember you for your fantastic sense of humour and laugh in team meetings, your stories from your deployments, and your wonderful appreciation of 'la dolce vita', of which from the brief time we crossed paths in Budapest you seemed to be a steady advocate and ambassador. I am sure you will continue to do so from wherever you are now, to the benefit of all who knew and now remember you. Sending you and your loved ones my deepest condolences and warmest regards. Ciao! Dear Simon,
I worked with you for a brief period in 2023. I came to know you as a hardworking, fun loving and motivating colleague. I still find it hard to believe that you are no more. I will always remember you as someone who was caring, hardworking and motivating. Rest in Peace Simon and heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones.
